Region Dalarna is working on the transition to the future health and medical care system, Good and Close Care with primary care as the hub. This means that in your role, you will be an important part of influencing that development. We offer a pleasant, challenging, and welcoming work environment in rural areas. Särna Health Center has about 2100 registered patients and around 40 employees, but the area has about 30,000 beds, and during the season it becomes like a small town. You have proximity to mountains, lakes, and hiking trails with breathtaking nature and the fifth season here! Mora Hospital, which is the nearest hospital, is 120 km away, and many patients are treated to completion with us.

District Doctor at Särna Health Center Job Responsibilities

As a doctor at Särna Health Center, you will work with planned and acute outpatient care, where you will meet patients of all ages. We are also responsible for SÄBO/Home Care, and work within BVC and MVC may also be relevant. The work takes place at the health center, but in some cases also in the patient's home environment. Supervision of doctors in training also occurs. As part of learning between professional categories but with the patient in focus, we work with teamwork, where complex cases can be discussed. The role also includes on-call duties during evenings and nights, as we operate around the clock.

Requirements:

• specialist doctor in general medicine, with a valid medical license and specialist certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare
• good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• driver's license

You are attentive and have a good attitude. You enjoy teamwork, and for you, it is a given to collaborate with colleagues and other partners in your work. It is a plus if you have supervisor training.
