About the position
In collaboration with our client, we are now looking for an experienced CREO designer. The role involves the development of new engines, drivetrains, and components, as well as the maintenance of existing products in production and at customer sites. You will work on the development of new components, troubleshooting of components or systems, addressing existing components, implementing solutions in production, and collaborating with factories and suppliers.
 

As a designer, you need to thrive in a role where you constantly work on problem-solving to find the real root cause of an issue before addressing the fault. They work with the 8D methodology to meet our quality requirements, and knowledge of this is important. The role requires you to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
 

We are looking for someone with 3–5 years of experience and preferably knowledge in engine design or component design for engines. Good knowledge of the CREO CAD system is a requirement. You should be a curious person and not afraid to try new solutions or systems. You should be social and humble, with a curiosity to test new ideas and solutions. You should always strive to find the best possible solution to a problem, considering all aspects such as cost, ease of installation, production, and sustainability.
 

Responsibilities

• Develop design documentation, such as drawings and CAD modules.
• Complete products in the CAD system and redesign existing models as needed.
• Create assemblies of CAD models and identify, report, and resolve packaging conflicts.
• Ensure quality and production readiness before release.
• Define how drawings are used as a basis for verifying the product's geometric properties.
• Produce technical drawings that clearly define the product.

• Have experience with the CREO CAD system
• Are fluent in English
• Are curious, social, and solution-oriented

It is advantageous for the position if you have experience in engine design or component design for engines, knowledge in KOLA or VPCS, or experience with Catia.
