Preschool Operations

The Preschool Operations is part of the Education Administration. We work for an equitable preschool where every child's right to education is in focus, clarifying professional roles and responsibilities for preschool teachers and childcare workers. Our vision is that the preschool should support every child regardless of their circumstances so that everyone has the opportunity to develop towards the goals. Our aim is to provide supportive learning in an inspiring and safe environment that meets the needs of the individual and society. With us, professional development and networking occur continuously. We have a comprehensive professional development plan and five study days per year. The Preschool Operations has its own special educators. All our preschools have work clothes, both for indoor and outdoor use, as part of our efforts to increase attendance in the operations.

Preschool Unit Bråstorp

The Preschool Unit Bråstorp consists of three preschools: Bråstorp, Skogsgläntan, and Västra Bråstorp. The Preschool Unit Bråstorp has a flexible learning environment where children's thoughts and interests form the basis for their play and learning. They also have their own kitchen where food is prepared from scratch. The Västra Bråstorp preschool is Sweden's most environmentally friendly preschool. We work in smaller child groups for most of the day.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• You work flexibly within our preschools and support the educational operations.
• You are familiar with the preschool curriculum and work within the childcare worker's area of responsibility.
• Together with the work team, you drive goal-oriented processes that promote care, development, and learning.
• You ensure that the preschool's values and mission permeate the work.

QUALIFICATIONS

Formal Competencies:

• You have a high school childcare education, child and leisure program, or other education that the employer assesses as equivalent.
• You have a good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish.

Personal Competencies:

• You are confident in yourself, stand up for your opinions, and have the courage to speak up when needed. You have the ability to separate the issue from the person and can feel secure even in uncertain situations.
• You actively take initiative in social contexts, step forward, and find it easy to create new relationships and maintain relationships.
• You work well with other people. Relate to them in a responsive and smooth manner. You can adapt and find win-win solutions through a selfless focus on the common goal.
