Who are we?

Hörnans youth center is part of Finspång municipality's leisure activities and is a safe and inspiring meeting place for children and young people in grades 6-9.

We are also part of a collaboration between several actors who together create a meaningful leisure time for children and youth in Finspång.

What can we offer you?

As a leisure and youth leader with us, you will have a varied and social role where you meet and support young people aged 13–16 in their leisure time. You will participate, implement, and evaluate activities together with both colleagues and visitors.

Working hours are scheduled during the day, mainly in the afternoons and evenings when the facility is open Monday to Thursday from 2 PM to 8 PM and Friday from 2 PM to 10 PM. During school holidays, various activities are offered daily and sometimes also excursions.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone with relevant education or other experience that we consider equivalent. You have experience working with youth in educational activities or associations, and you are used to collaborating with different organizations to create meaningful activities. Knowledge and experience of working in open activities are advantageous.

As a person, you are social, driven, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. You enjoy juggling many tasks, are good at building relationships, and see collaboration as a natural part of the work. We believe you are someone who quickly builds trust, both with young people and adults, and who sees opportunities where others see obstacles. If you also have a genuine commitment to youth development and want to contribute to a safe and inclusive environment, then you are the person we are looking for!
