Who are we?

The Social Office in Norrköping Municipality focuses on the needs of the individual. It should be easy to get help. Our support and treatment efforts maintain high quality and are based on legally secure assessments.

We want to find solutions close to the individual and contribute to a positive change. Together, we want to create security and good social services for those of us living in Norrköping.

The escort and respite service consists of 10 employees who collaborate and help each other when needed. The users have decisions through LSS, and based on that decision, we help our users live like others.

Escort service means that we escort users to and from activities. Respite service means that you work with children with disabilities such as autism, where you relieve parents at home.

We are now looking for a support pedagogue who wants to contribute to our team!

Your tasks

As a support pedagogue within escort and respite service, you receive new assignments and schedule meetings with parents and users. You schedule new assignments and plan interventions.

You write implementation plans and document regularly in our documentation system Combine. You support and guide other staff as needed and handle the unit's invoices.

The role involves many contacts both internally and externally. You participate in meetings with habilitation, BUP, and contribute to SIP meetings. You also have close collaboration with personal assistance.

Furthermore, you lead and develop the unit's quality work in consultation with the unit manager and colleagues, and you work on individual cases as needed.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who is a trained support pedagogue or has a relevant post-secondary education, such as pedagogical education or occupational therapy, alternatively another education that is deemed equivalent. You preferably have experience working with the target group, focusing on disabilities.

We would like you to have experience with low-arousal approaches, LSS, and working with children with disabilities.

As a person, you have knowledge and understanding of how to build trusting relationships and a desire to inspire. You have good collaboration skills and can take initiative in your work.

You are stable, mature, and secure in yourself and have the ability to maintain a calm demeanor, even in stressful situations.

Since you work alone, we see that you have a good ability to solve situations that arise independently. You have a flexible approach and can adapt based on new situations and working methods.

You have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.

It is an advantage if you have experience handling invoices, working in various data systems such as our documentation system Combine, TES, TimeCare, and Heroma.

A driver's license (B) is desirable.
