The Workplace

We are now looking for a nurse to Hagunda Home Care, one of Forenede Care's units within Uppsala Home Care. Our operations are run on behalf of Uppsala Municipality and are aimed at individuals aged 65 and older living in regular housing.

At Hagunda, you work in beautiful rural surroundings, where proximity to nature combines with an engaging and developing work environment. We are a unit with a strong team spirit, where cooperation and participation are a natural part of everyday life.

Forenede Care operates a total of six home care units as well as a night patrol and on-call services. Within Uppsala Home Care, we have short decision-making paths and close leadership, which allows us to quickly make decisions and adapt to the needs of both patients and staff.

We work with person-centered care, where each care recipient is in focus. Teamwork is one of our greatest strengths, and you collaborate closely with nurses, physiotherapists, nursing assistants, care assistants, unit managers, and case schedulers. Together, we work to continuously develop and improve the operations.

Job Responsibilities

As a licensed nurse with us, you create conditions for our patients to live as independently, participatively, and meaningfully as possible. You have a holistic perspective on care, where both the medical and human aspects are important.

You work independently but always with support from the team, and have a leadership responsibility according to the Health and Medical Services Act (HSL). The role also includes mentoring nursing staff, where you contribute with your expertise and pedagogical skills. Documentation according to HSL is a natural part of your work.

Out here in the countryside, you get to use your full competence – from clinical assessment and medical interventions to creative problem-solving in patients' home environments.

Qualifications

You are a licensed nurse or district nurse, preferably with experience in elderly care or geriatrics. You are confident in your professional role, take responsibility, and find it easy to find solutions even in new situations.

We are looking for someone who enjoys working both independently and in a team, has a good attitude, and a positive approach to development and change. Personal suitability is highly valued.

A valid driver's license (B) is required.
