School Nurse for Folkuniversitetet's High Schools in Uppsala, Part-time

Cultus Gymnasium and the International High School are two small-scale high schools that share management, facilities, and staff. The schools offer the health and social care program and the social sciences program.

Our principal is Folkuniversitetet – a study association that is politically and religiously independent and free from profit interests. At the schools, a team of about 25 people works together to create the best possible conditions for students' learning.

We are now looking for a school nurse who wants to work to help our students succeed in their studies.

The tasks include working health-promoting and preventive together with the other student health team. Additionally, the responsibilities include:

- health conversations and coordination of vaccinations

- collaboration with students, guardians, teachers, and other school staff

- collaboration with external actors and authorities

- support and advice on physical and mental health

- medical assessments and handling minor health issues

- documentation

Qualifications

We are looking for a licensed nurse with specialist training in district nursing, health and medical care for children and adolescents, or school nursing.

Experience in school health care, student health work, and experience working with youth is an advantage.

We place great emphasis on personal suitability and good collaboration skills, where it is important that you can create a good contact with young people and their guardians. As a school nurse, you need to be able to work independently and be confident in your profession. Accuracy, flexibility, and social security are other qualities we value.

Type of Employment

- Permanent employment, the organization applies a probationary period of 6 months.

- Start date March 6, 2026

- The position is 40%
