As a nurse in Trosa Municipality, you will have a varied life with rewarding meetings in a beautiful environment. Here, we care for and support patients with many different diseases and conditions.

Currently, there are 25 nurses, six occupational therapists, four physiotherapists, and two nursing assistants working in the Health and Medical Care Unit. We nurses are placed within home healthcare, which includes special housing as well as regular housing. We are currently looking for an additional nurse for our unit.

As a newly hired nurse, you will receive a mentor who will guide you through the introduction during your first time. You will have a recurring fixed check-in time with your mentor who will introduce you to the workplace, colleagues, and patients.

WHAT DOES YOUR ROLE AS A NURSE INVOLVE?

As a nurse in home healthcare, you will have an independent and varied job, with the responsibility to organize your own work. You will perform and be responsible for unplanned and planned home visits with assessments, medication management, and nursing interventions. We work with the patient at the center and consider each person's individual needs for care and support.

We have a Clinical Training Center (KTC) that is used for competency supply in the municipality.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

You who are applying are/have:

• licensed nurse
• ability to express yourself well in Swedish, both spoken and written
• good computer and documentation skills
• driver's license (B)

You have good collaboration skills and contribute to a positive atmosphere and team spirit. You are open to people's differences and see these as an asset, as well as having an empathetic and understanding ability. You adapt your approach according to the patient and circumstances. We value your pedagogical ability to explain what is happening to patients and relatives.
