RESPONSIBILITIES

As a substitute in elderly care, you will provide support, care, and service to individuals with various needs. The work is based on decisions from case managers and implementation plans that are developed together with the individual.

You will work with:

• Providing personal care and practical support in daily life, such as assistance with hygiene, mobility, dressing, and undressing
• Performing service tasks such as cleaning, laundry, shopping, etc.
• Creating social interaction and safety through conversations, walks, and activities
• Carrying out health and medical tasks under the delegation of licensed personnel
• Documenting in our operational system according to applicable guidelines

In home care, these tasks are performed in the elderly person's own home. The work is independent and requires good planning skills, adaptability to different situations, and the ability to handle both physical and digital aids.

In special accommodations, you will work in a team with colleagues to provide residents with a safe, meaningful, and active life. You are part of a work team where you collectively are responsible for following up on interventions, providing support in daily life, and contributing to a good care environment.

Working hours may be scheduled for days, evenings, weekends, and nights.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a genuine interest in people who wants to contribute to a dignified and safe daily life for our elderly.

For the position, you must:

• Be at least 18 years old
• Have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written
• Have basic digital competence
• Be responsible, empathetic, and have good collaboration skills
• Be able to cycle or have a B driver's license (requirement for certain home care groups)

It is an advantage if you have:

• Nursing assistant education or other relevant health and care training
• Previous experience in elderly care
