Occupational Therapists for Specialized Elderly Housing in Eskilstuna

There is a lot happening at our unit right now as we develop our working methods. Here, as a qualified occupational therapist, you have the opportunity to work with a competent and inclusive team with great possibilities for professional development. We think outside the box and focus on person-centered care and teamwork. We are looking for two occupational therapists for our specialized housing for the elderly.

Through teamwork, you and your colleagues work with the staff at our housing facilities. To allow you to focus on your work as an occupational therapist, you are supported by our rehab assistants with administration, prescribed training, and assistive devices. At our workplace, you will receive a thorough introduction, and if you are a recent graduate, you will be offered a mentor. We are approximately 30 employees who enjoy our jobs and each other's company. The office is located approximately two kilometers from the central station. We believe it is important to support you as an employee by offering the possibility of remote work, either from home or during commutes, in addition to flexible hours.

Job Responsibilities

As an occupational therapist, you work to strengthen people's independence in their daily lives. You get to know the individuals we serve and follow their development over time. We are well-regarded at our housing facilities, with many requesting our support. In this role, you collaborate closely with physiotherapists, both in pairs and in smaller teams. You also collaborate with nurses, care staff, and other professions. The role includes supervising students during their practice-based education (VFU). You plan your own workday and have the opportunity to influence and develop our work. Qualifications

We are looking for you who have a B driver's license and are a qualified occupational therapist with Swedish licensure, or who will complete your education during the current semester. As a person, you are empathetic, flexible, and solution-focused. It is an advantage if you have worked with this target group before, but it is not a requirement. Through your ability to collaborate with others, we develop daily life together for the individuals we serve. You see opportunities and focus on what leads to good holistic solutions, both for the individual and for our operations.
