We are looking for a unit manager for our dialysis and kidney reception at Mälarsjukhuset.

About us

The Medicine Clinic is the largest clinic in the region with operations in nephrology, general internal medicine including emergency care at the emergency department and AVA, cardiology, geriatrics, endocrinology, hematology, gastroenterology, SSIH, palliative care, neurology, and stroke. We have 450 employees across 12 units, each with its own unit manager. We are now looking for someone to join our successful team of unit managers! Your responsibilities

The role of unit manager includes leading, organizing, and developing the ongoing work with the unit's employees with a focus on the patient. As a unit manager, you have responsibility and authority for the operations, staff, finances, and work environment. You will also plan, lead, and develop the organization in a way that benefits the patient, the operations, and the staff. As a unit manager, you are responsible, together with the clinic's section responsible doctors, for the unit's patient safety and quality work. Your team also includes the deputy unit manager and common support functions such as HR, controller, and business developer. The unit is part of the kidney section at the medicine clinic, and you will have close collaboration with the kidney department as well as cooperation within Region Sörmland with other kidney units.

Your task as an active manager will be to engage, motivate, and create participation among employees with the goal of developing outpatient care.

Your qualifications

We are looking for someone with a higher education in health and medical care as a licensed nurse. We prefer that you have managerial or leadership experience or other relevant experience for the position. You need to have experience in kidney care. We place great emphasis on collaboration and the ability to work person-centered with trust. You will work in a team with all the clinic's unit managers, and we support each other across boundaries.

You will have a lot of personal responsibility based on trust. Together, we will plan for your management and leadership development, and together with all our employees, we will develop healthcare!
