JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are now looking for a licensed occupational therapist who wants to work in elderly care in Vingåkers municipality. Currently, there are five occupational therapists, two physiotherapists, and one rehabilitation assistant working in the unit.

As an occupational therapist, you will be responsible for rehabilitation, treatments, training, care planning, as well as guidance and instructions to individuals, relatives, and staff.

Your tasks will also include the testing of assistive devices. You will have a close collaboration with the physiotherapist, where you are responsible for a geographical area and/or unit. As an occupational therapist, you will work in a team with nurses, unit managers, care staff, and case managers. We base our work on a rehabilitative approach. Our goal is for individuals to be able to use their own abilities in daily activities based on their circumstances and needs. Together, we will facilitate and create conditions for the individual to be as independent as possible.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for a licensed occupational therapist. We see that you, as a person, are flexible, have good collaboration skills, professional competence, and creativity. You are meticulous, responsible, and have a strong sense of teamwork. In this recruitment, great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability. A B driver's license is a requirement for this position.
