Occupational Therapist for Special Housing for the Elderly

We think innovatively and invest in person-centered care and teamwork. We are currently looking for an occupational therapist for our special housing for the elderly.

Through teamwork, you and your colleagues work with the staff at our facilities. To allow you to focus on your work as an occupational therapist, you will receive support from our rehab assistants regarding administration, prescribed training, and aids. With us, you will receive a solid introduction, and if you are newly graduated, you will be offered a mentor. We are about 30 employees who enjoy our work and each other! The office is located about two kilometers from the bus and train station.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As an occupational therapist, you work to strengthen individuals' independence in daily life. You get to know those we are here for and can follow their development over time. At the same time, you have close collaboration with physiotherapists, nurses, care staff, and other professionals. Your work includes supervising students who are doing their practical training (VFU). You are responsible for planning and organizing your workday.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a B driver's license and who is a qualified occupational therapist with Swedish authorization, or you will complete your education during the current semester. As a person, you are attentive, flexible, and solution-focused. It is an advantage if you have worked with the target group before, but it is not a requirement. Through your ability to collaborate with others, we develop together the daily lives of the individuals we serve. You see opportunities and focus on what leads to good overall solutions, both for the individual and for our organization.
