About Us

Do you want to work as a district doctor at a health center with stable medical staffing? Health Center Mariefred is a well-established, region-driven health center with nearly 11,000 registered patients, located in charming Mariefred. We are about 45 employees who collaborate to provide our patients with good care, focusing on the patient's best interests. Here, there are medical consultations, nursing consultations, child health care (BVC), and rehabilitation, including psychosocial services, all under one roof. The medical team currently consists of seven specialist doctors in general medicine, one internist who is to become a double specialist, and four additional ST doctors. Additionally, we continuously have two AT doctors placed with us. All patients have a fixed, named specialist doctor or ST doctor. As a specialist doctor, you have a limited assignment with currently a maximum of 1500 registered residents.

Our mission includes responsibility for special housing, home care, and BVC, so there is room for side assignments depending on your area of interest. With us, you will have a varied job where you meet patients of all ages, with different backgrounds and varying needs. The health center has multiprofessional teams around all patients, and since we are located further from hospitals, you will have the opportunity to work with a wide variety of medical issues.

Your Responsibilities

You are responsible for the patients registered with you and thus have a defined assignment. We have a shared responsibility for our acute flow and our own planned consultations daily. You naturally collaborate with other professionals at the health center and also serve as a supervisor for ST/AT doctors. You are part of a medical group that together develops primary care with a focus on quality, continuity, accessibility, and attractiveness.

Some on-call and standby duty at the primary care emergency in Strängnäs is included.

Your Qualifications

• You are a licensed physician and a specialist in general medicine or a physician with Swedish licensure after AT/BT, who has decided to pursue your specialist training in general medicine.
• Enjoy working independently with varied tasks.
• Have good collaboration skills and flexibility.
• You have experience working at a health center and are interested in development.
• Driver's license B

Employment Type

Permanent employment, full-time or part-time, with start date by agreement.
