About Us

Do you want to become our new unit manager/ward manager at the eye clinic in Katrineholm? We are now looking for a successor as our current one has chosen to move on to other work. The Eye Clinic in Sörmland is a regional clinic with three locations. The Katrineholm clinic is located in renovated premises at Kullbergska Hospital. Here you will meet a group of experienced employees with a strong desire to do their utmost for eye care.

The clinic has large patient flows and produces about 60,000 visits per year. Here we work with the patient in focus and we have a lot of technical equipment as working tools. This combination makes working in eye care incredibly exciting! We have also worked quite a bit with work shifts. Eye care is also constantly evolving with new technical solutions and new treatments.

Your Responsibilities

As we are a regional clinic, you will have close dialogue with the other unit managers in Eskilstuna and Nyköping. You are part of the management team for the clinic and report to the operations manager. You are responsible for your clinic's finances, staffing, and recruitment as well as personnel responsibility and work environment responsibility. This means that you handle rehabilitation cases, employee conversations, interviews, salary setting, etc. You drive and develop the clinic forward with your good leadership skills. You will work physically on-site Monday through Friday (daytime). You are available for your employees, who are about 17 in total. You are expected to work clinically as part of your position.

Your Qualifications

You are educated in the health and medical field, preferably a licensed nurse. Experience in eye care is an advantage. Ideally, we also prefer experience in previous management positions within the public sector. We place great emphasis on personal qualities.
