Registered Nurse Wanted in Eskilstuna Municipality

The nursing organization in Eskilstuna Municipality consists of approximately 120 nurses. We are now looking for a nurse for Unit 5. The residences included in Unit 5 are Ekebo, Åbacken, and Marielund.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a nurse, you will work with a strong focus on person-centered care and lead the municipal health and medical care efforts. You will be responsible for assessments, identifying risks, and mapping patients' needs for care measures. Using medical technology and evidence-based tools, you will work to provide the best possible care.

The work involves close collaboration with other nurses and professional groups, both internally and externally, to ensure patients' care needs are met. You will work in a varied and developing everyday life and meet patients with a wide range of needs and diagnoses. The units have a digital innovation focus and are forward-looking to meet the future's close care and person-centered working methods.

You will have a 38.25-hour workweek, and the position includes evenings and weekends. We use a wish schedule.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse with experience in the field, as well as a driver's license and driving experience. You need to have good computer skills and experience working with journal systems. You also have experience training and mentoring other staff. Experience with the elderly population is an advantage for this position, as is working with quality registers such as Senior Alert or the Palliative Register. Experience in driving development work and further education in relevant areas is also meritorious for the position.

The administration is divided into a staff unit and five operational areas: elderly care, disability services, health and medical care, assistance, and staffing.
