The Map Tracking team, in the Transport & Fleet area, is responsible for developing and maintaining our positioning service, a premium tracking service in the map, that enhances our customers' business – and your experience is needed.

We are now looking for a Solution Architect for the Map Tracking product team.

Key responsibilities

The main responsibility of the role is to bridge business problems and technical solutions within the product area for Map Tracking.

You will be a part of the Map Tracking core team and have a tight collaboration with the development team, and a close collaboration with our sister teams, that develop products that have dependencies on the map.

Finding the best solution for a business problem will be the core working process. In practice, this means analysis, design, and enhancement of existing services for the future and innovation for new features. The mentality of the role shall be to drive the design of microservices for the Map Tracking product in the Tracking & Planning area, learn our development platform, and collaborate with many teams.

Characteristics of the role are:

• Through a holistic solution view, design services optimized both for business need, costs, and maintainability
• Describe structures, characteristics, and other aspects of the design for development teams, both frontend and backend
• Drive reviews of architecture concepts and solutions
• Perform presentations of solutions to stakeholders

Competence Profile & Qualifications

As a person, we believe you are structured, innovative, and have a strong technical focus in combination with a customer-oriented attitude. You like to take responsibility and enjoy teamwork, solving our challenges together and contributing to team spirit!

Your personality is your major reason for success, but we also think you have:

• A university degree in computer science or similar
• Extensive experience with modern frontend development, particularly React, React Hooks, and state management libraries
• Hands-on experience designing and building AWS Serverless architecture
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), ideally with AWS CDK
• Deep understanding of software engineering best practices, including automated testing, observability, security, performance optimization, and maintainable code design.
• You have several years documented experience from assignments in designing and developing systems in close cooperation with customers
• Ability to inspire, develop and motivate individuals and teams
• Strong interest in process improvements and ability to create structure
• Have capacity to execute against set targets and a “can do” attitude
• Ability to establish and maintain good relations with your internal and external partners
• You need to be fluent in English - both written and spoken. Basic skills in Swedish are preferred, and you hold a valid work permit for Sweden, if not an EU citizen.
• And finally, but not the least, continuously reflect upon how we are doing things and where we can improve
