Cultural Administration is looking for an IT Specialist
The Cultural Administration works for a broad arts and cultural life for everyone to participate in. We strive for a sustainable and open city that puts culture and art at the center.
The Cultural Administration has approximately 800 employees who mainly work within libraries, cultural centers, museums, and other cultural activities.
Job Responsibilities
The Cultural Administration is in the midst of an exciting digital transformation journey, which means that we in the IT unit face many new and challenging assignments.
Our expertise is constantly in demand in various projects, and we work closely with our operations to develop and digitalize in the best possible way.
We are now looking for a new colleague who, with drive and commitment, can contribute both independently and in a team to advance digitalization issues. With us, IT development occurs in close collaboration with the administration's operations and your colleagues in the unit. You will play an important role in transforming ideas, data, and strategies into concrete operational benefits. Additionally, you will be a link between the administration and our partners in procurement and implementation projects of new IT systems. An important part of the work is to plan and conduct workshops to create a common understanding and anchoring among all stakeholders.
We are looking for an engaged and experienced employee who wants to help drive our operations forward. The role involves broad responsibility within strategic work where you will coordinate various assignments to ensure they are carried out with high quality and in line with the city's and the operation's goals for digitalization.
In addition, the position also includes operational work related to the new cybersecurity law, including systematic information security work. The role also involves supporting operations with, for example, information classification, risk analyses, and developing measures. You may also participate in work related to continuity and incident reporting. Furthermore, you will be a key person in procurement processes, where you will be involved in requirement specifications.
In our unit, you will work alongside seven colleagues in a non-prestigious work culture where we support each other, share our knowledge, and maintain an open dialogue climate. We work with freedom under responsibility and are self-driven, with a present manager who supports us and the unit without micromanaging.
We are located in new, activity-based premises in the city center, which provides us with a flexible and hybrid work environment.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone with post-secondary education in the IT field, such as in computer science, IT, and cybersecurity, or equivalent education/work experience that the employer deems equivalent. A strong drive and interest in digitalization are crucial, as you will play a key role in driving digitalization and implementing effective solutions together with the operations.
To succeed in this role, we prefer that you have experience in IT and business architecture. Your work will contribute to ensuring that our IT structures support the long-term goals of the operations. Previous experience in project management is valuable, as you will work on developing and driving processes in collaboration with various operations.
Experience in service design and benefit realization is meritorious, as this further contributes to ensuring that we deliver concrete improvements and value to our operations. If you have also worked with procurement in the public sector, we see it as a significant advantage, as it gives you a better understanding of how we can effectively manage complex IT purchases.
The demand for professional and competent contributions from our IT unit is high within the administration. To meet this need, we see it as crucial that you are driven and development-oriented. We care about a good working climate in the group, which makes it important that you can work independently when required while also collaborating effectively with your colleagues.
We look forward to welcoming a new colleague who shares our vision and is ready to contribute to our continued success!
