We are now looking for a Technical Specialist in the Network area for our client in central Gothenburg. The role means that you will act as a technical specialist in dialogue with customers and suppliers, and you will specify requirements, design and improve technical solutions, as well as drive projects regarding the company's IT infrastructure. It is important that you enjoy close collaboration with your colleagues and that you have an unpretentious approach to your work. About the role

The role suits you who have solid, practical experience in the network area and who have also worked in a procurement role with responsibility for specifying requirements towards suppliers in IT infrastructure. We are now looking for someone who wants to take the next step and continue to develop in a strategic direction. As a Technical Specialist, you will no longer work operationally with networks but take an overarching, strategic role where you drive development, quality, and direction for our client's IT environment. You will also need to have previous experience with cloud solutions as you will be involved in driving the work from on-prem to Public cloud.

You will initially work as a consultant at Nexer Infrastructure and then transition to employment with our client.

Responsibilities

• Act as a technical expert in networks, infrastructure, and platform services

• Specify requirements and act as a purchaser towards suppliers

• Identify and solve complex technical challenges in collaboration with internal teams and external suppliers

• Contribute to the design, implementation, and improvement of systems and solutions

• Support monitoring, log management, and capacity planning

• Collaborate with development teams to ensure robust and reliable solutions

• Document work and promote knowledge sharing within the team

• Stay updated on new technology and drive improvement proposals

• Drive and participate in the work from on-prem to Public cloud

We would like you to

• Have at least 3 years of documented work experience in networking

• Have worked in a procurement role with clear requirement specifications towards suppliers in IT infrastructure

• Have experience in operation, configuration, and maintenance of network infrastructure

• Have been involved in the work from on-prem to public cloud before

• Have knowledge of Windows or Linux server

• Have knowledge of Active Directory and Windows 11/Mac

• Communicate fluently in Swedish, both spoken and written
