Senior Test Automation Engineer, Python | Docker | Kubernetes

Infotiv is looking for a Senior Test Automation Engineer for a consulting assignment related to a communication platform used in care-related and critical societal environments.

The assignment is suitable for you who want to work with robust test automation and quality in complex systems, and work on further developing an existing communication platform ready for the Cloud environment.

About the assignment

You will be part of an experienced test team responsible for quality assurance of software on Windows, Android, and iOS. The role combines test automation, manual testing, and DevOps-related work, with a strong focus on stability, performance, and long-term solutions. The work is mainly conducted in the office and in a lab environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance the test automation framework in Python
• Create and maintain BDD-based automated tests (FitNesse)
• Integrate and optimize tests in CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins)
• Conduct load and performance testing with Locust
• Web automation with Selenium
• Troubleshooting through SQL analysis and network traffic analysis (Wireshark)
• Work with testing in container-based environments (Docker/Kubernetes)
• Improve test strategy, test architecture, and working methods

Your profile

• At least 5 years of experience in testing and test automation
• Education, MSc, BSc in Computer Science or Electronics or equivalent
• Strong expertise in Python
• Experience with CI/CD and DevOps-related working methods
• Good understanding of Docker and Kubernetes
• Structured, self-driven, and quality-conscious
• Excellent communication skills in English and Swedish
