The Technical Administration has undergone a transformation in 2025 and from January 1, 2026, it will consist of the departments Water & Sewage, Streets & Parks, and Properties. In 2026, we will continue the development together with the municipality's Operations & Service Company.

RESPONSIBILITIES

In the role of business developer, you will have a versatile assignment with various responsibilities where you will both support the administration's managers in driving the operations efficiently and with the right quality, while also serving as project coordinator for several different development and investment projects. These projects are driven from an overarching level, sometimes even across administrative boundaries.

The part concerning efficiency and quality involves, among other things, being responsible for the goal process, process management, internal control, and the administration's own local usage. This includes questions such as:

• Developing relevant key figures and operational goals.
• Conducting needs analyses and process mapping to develop and simplify working methods and routines.
• Following up on goals and activities and making these available to our political decision-makers.

The part of the assignment that involves project coordination includes leading development projects within the administration or, in some cases, for multiple administrations. The projects will vary from time to time but often have the same structure with:

• Project management
• Implementation support
• Workshops
• Documentation, quality assurance of implementation, utility usage for the operation.
• The assignment also includes monitoring the external environment to learn from others.

You will work together with employees who have different competencies, backgrounds, and experiences, and you will ensure that development and projects are carried out and become sustainable over time. You will do this on behalf of and in collaboration with the operations and the employees/citizens who have submitted improvement proposals. The assignment may also involve inspiring, conducting training, and participating in and leading working groups. Occasional evening and weekend work may occur, mainly in connection with events.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is structured and meticulous and who has a good ability to plan and prioritize their work. You gain energy and thrive on collaboration and actively contribute to a good working climate, while also seeing opportunities in change and being proactive, driven, and innovative in your development work. You have the ability to see the bigger picture and understand how different parts of the operation are interconnected.

We prefer that you have a university degree in a relevant field or experience that the employer deems equivalent. You have experience in project management and digitalization work as well as in driving change and business development. The position includes travel, which means that a B driver's license is a requirement.
