We are now looking for a senior or junior embedded developer for our client in the defense industry. The role primarily involves programming FPGAs (including embedded processors), focusing on both firmware (VHDL) and software (C/C++).

Responsibilities

The work includes developing control logic with a particular focus on firmware in VHDL. This includes implementing calibration functions in both firmware and software, as well as developing high-speed links. The role also involves integration and testing in a lab environment, as well as troubleshooting and further development of both new and existing features.

Requirements and Desired Skills

• Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, electrical engineering, physics, or equivalent
• Experience in embedded programming is desirable
• Good understanding of how FPGAs work
• Knowledge of VHDL
• Swedish citizenship is a requirement
• You are fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Experience with C/C++ is an advantage
• Knowledge of Matlab and Python is a plus
• Interest in working in agile teams

Other

The work involves handling defense secrecy, especially in a lab environment. Security clearance (RK) will therefore be required.
