Infotiv is now looking for a Test & Analysis Engineer in battery systems for a consulting assignment with a client in electrification and advanced drivetrains.

The assignment suits you who have mechanical understanding combined with electrical and software knowledge, and who enjoys hands-on testing work close to both development and verification.

About the assignment

In this role, you will work with the verification of battery cells and complete battery packs for high-voltage applications. The work is carried out in close collaboration with system engineers and test operators, both in the client's internal battery lab and with external suppliers.

You will be responsible for:

• Planning, ordering, preparing, and analyzing tests for battery cells, modules, and packs
• Performing and analyzing tests such as:
• Thermal performance
• Internal resistance
• Performance Test
• External short circuit
• Stand-alone HW testers
• Durability and lifespan tests
• Ensuring high quality in test execution, analysis, and documentation

We are looking for someone who

Is analytical, structured, and responsible. You have a practical side and thrive in an environment where testing occurs close to hardware, while also having the ability to analyze and draw conclusions from complex test data.

Mandatory requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant engineering field
• At least 3 years of experience in the verification of battery systems within the automotive industry
• Swedish B driver's license
• Very good knowledge of English, both spoken and written
• Good understanding of both mechanics and electrical and software

Meritorious

• Experience in hybrid and/or electric drive development
• Knowledge and experience with Li-ion batteries
• Experience in test development and test equipment
• Analysis of test results using Python or Matlab
• Experience with processes and working methods within the automotive industry
