Eccera is now recruiting a Senior Security Tester for our client Assured, a well-established security company that has helped organizations become safer for over ten years: from ships to microchips. 

This position is a direct recruitment, so the employment will be directly with Assured.

About the role
As a penetration tester focusing on vehicles, you will work with all aspects of modern connected vehicles – from networks and infrastructure to web, mobile, cloud, and embedded systems. 

You will be part of an experienced delivery team and participate in the entire process: from scoping and test planning to reporting and presenting results. 

Examples of tasks: 

• Perform penetration tests and security analyses, primarily white-box
• Review code and configurations and conduct dynamic testing
• Document vulnerabilities in technical reports
• Present results to clients with varying technical backgrounds
• Plan and structure work independently, often taking a leading role in projects 

Your profile
You have several years of experience in penetration testing within the automotive industry and want to further develop in a team where knowledge sharing and technical quality are in focus. 

We believe you have experience in: 

• Vehicles and embedded systems
• UNECE R155, ISO 21434, IEC 62443
• Leading roles in projects
• Internal knowledge sharing 

Meritorious: 

• Experience with networks and infrastructure
• Testing applications (web, mobile, native)
• Reviewing cloud environments
• Knowledge of CAN, LIN, Flexray, MOST, UDS, DoIP, Autosar, or Automotive Ethernet
• Experience with Bluetooth, WiFi, RFID, NFC, GSM, 4G, GPS, radar, or lidar
• Certifications such as OSCP, OSEP, OSWE, CRTO, CRTL, or BSCP
