Description

The Office of Digitalization and IT consists of four units: the IT Unit, the Development Unit, the Innovation and Project Unit, and a staff unit that leads and coordinates Trollhättan City's digitalization efforts.

Together, we strengthen the organization's ability to work smart, sustainably, and data-driven, with the goal of creating the greatest possible benefit for residents, employees, and the city's operations.

We are looking for a service-oriented IT Support Technician for the IT Unit who will assist Trollhättan City's employees in the best possible way with their IT-related issues.

Responsibilities

• You will work in an IT support/helpdesk where employees in Trollhättan City contact you and your colleagues via tickets or phone. You will also be responsible for delivering computers to employees in Trollhättan City's IT environment together with your helpdesk colleagues.
• You collaborate with your colleagues to provide high-quality and fast IT support to Trollhättan City's employees.
• You document solutions and consider documentation and information for Trollhättan City's employees as a given.
• You enjoy writing manuals and other instructions.
• You have a strong focus on 100% customer satisfaction.
• You work within the IT Unit's delivery process, which involves delivering and retrieving computers for our operations.
• You work on continuous improvements and have a strong personal drive and willingness to address problems as they arise.

Qualifications

• We are looking for someone with broad IT technical knowledge who enjoys helping people with their IT-related issues. Previous experience as an IT Support Technician is a plus.
• You have extensive general IT technical knowledge.
• You have a strong general interest in IT and a great ability and willingness to learn more about IT.
• You work independently and in a structured manner with a strong interest in problem-solving.
• You enjoy taking initiative and driving improvement efforts within the workgroup.
• You are interested in people and have a very high sense of service.
• You are social, outgoing, and communicative, collaborating and supporting your colleagues.
• You will work with the delivery and retrieval of computers, so you should be comfortable with lifting boxes and connecting a computer, monitor, and other IT equipment to an IT workplace.
• It is a requirement that you can speak and write fluent Swedish.
• It is a requirement that you have a driver's license.
