Information Security Specialist at Göteborg Energi

Here, you will work closely with the business, influence strategic decisions, and contribute to ensuring that our systems and processes are secure, sustainable, and resilient. Your task

As an information security specialist, you will be a central player in developing, driving, and managing our information security work. You will work both strategically and operationally and have significant room to influence how we build and further develop our security structures.

Your responsibilities will include:

• developing, implementing, and maintaining security programs
• establishing and managing requirements, regulations, and processes
• creating strategies and activities to increase information security awareness
• conducting risk and vulnerability analyses, information classifications, and other security-related analyses
• driving continuous improvements in close collaboration with business stakeholders
• providing advisory and support in all matters related to information security
• monitoring and evaluating compliance with frameworks, regulations, and processes

This is a role where you will have significant authority, responsibility, and a dynamic work environment.

Your team

You will be part of the Information Security, Data, and Analysis department within Development and Digitalization. Here, a team of over ten specialists works in areas such as information and IT security, risk and continuity, incident management, and IT security architecture.

Your qualifications

We are looking for someone who is passionate about information security and wants to continue developing in the field. You are analytical, curious, and have a natural ability to create structure even in complex situations. You thrive when you can take the lead and make things happen.

We believe you have:

• relevant post-secondary education or equivalent experience
• at least three years of experience in information security or IT security
• good knowledge of regulations and standards such as the ISO 27000 series, COBIT, NIST, or similar

Meritorious:

• certifications from (ISC)², ISACA, or IAPP
• experience implementing information security management systems
• background in IT or security protection
