Do you want to make a difference in people's daily lives? We are currently looking for nursing assistants for Södra Frölunda home care, centrally located in Frölunda cultural center near Frölunda square.

With us, you will be part of an engaged team in a personal and varied work environment.

As a nursing assistant in home care, you work closely with our care recipients in their own homes. You provide support based on individual needs and assistance decisions, with tasks such as personal care, help during meals, social support, certain health and medical care interventions, and collaboration with relatives. The work is independent but takes place in close cooperation with colleagues.

We work according to the Social Services Act and the national value base with the individual's needs at the center and a health-promoting approach. The role includes being a fixed care contact as well as planning, implementing, documenting, and following up on interventions. You also perform rehabilitative and health care measures as prescribed.

All documentation is done digitally and training is provided as needed. Working hours are scheduled for days, evenings, and weekends.

About You

Qualifications

• We are looking for someone who is a trained nursing assistant and can show a certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare for protected professional title or can demonstrate that you were employed as a nursing assistant when the new regulations were introduced.
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language in both spoken and written form.
• Comfortable using a bicycle as a work vehicle.
• Has work experience in disability or mental health.

Desirable but not a requirement

• Experience working with TimeCare and Treserva.

As a nursing assistant in home care, you show respect and consideration for those you meet in your professional role. The care recipient's needs are the starting point for your actions. Your communication is an important part of your work as you inform colleagues about important events, have conversations with care recipients, and need to document.

Work in home care consists largely of independent work and personal responsibility, but you also work together with your colleagues with the care recipient's best interests in focus. The tasks vary based on the care recipient's needs, and therefore it is important that you can adapt yourself and your working methods based on changing conditions.
