About the assignment

Our client is a well-known manufacturing company in Malmö that is now looking for a driven Purchaser for a consulting assignment via Adecco. Here you will have the opportunity to join a dynamic purchasing team and be an important part of their continued development.

The assignment starts immediately as agreed and will last for 6 months.

Responsibilities

As a Purchaser, you will among other things:

• Conduct operational and tactical purchasing work
• Manage orders, supplier dialogue, and follow-up
• Participate in or lead negotiations
• Work with contracts
• Support the business with investments (capex) and indirect purchases
• Collaborate closely with production and technical functions to ensure the right materials and services are delivered on time

Your profile

To succeed in this role, we believe you are:

• Proactive and flexible, with the ability to shift focus when needs change
• Unpretentious and driven, you take initiative and work closely with the business
• Hands-on, preferably with an interest in technology
• Experienced in negotiations, you enjoy engaging with suppliers
• Experience in capex purchasing (machines or equipment) or indirect purchasing is a plus
• If you have contract expertise, it is an advantage; otherwise, we are happy to teach you
