Summer Substitute in Disability Services

Your Mission
Together, you will work to create a meaningful everyday life for the users. As a summer substitute with us, you will have the opportunity to contribute, guide, develop, and truly make a difference. In our operations, you will support users with daily tasks, personal care, escorting, community activities such as social and cultural events, distributing medication, and other interventions that promote a meaningful everyday life based on each individual's unique needs.
The disability services are governed by the Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons (LSS) and the Social Services Act (SoL). With us, you can work in several areas:
- Service and group housing for adults (LSS)
- Housing for children and adolescents (LSS)
- Short-term stay/recreational supervision for children and adolescents (LSS)
- Special housing within social psychiatry (SOL)
- Housing support within social psychiatry (SOL)
We operate around the clock, and therefore we expect you to be able to work varying hours during the day, evening, and night, both weekdays and weekends. You will replace regular staff during the holiday period from June to August.
As a summer substitute, you need to be able to work at least four consecutive weeks during this period.

Your Experience
To work as a summer substitute with us, you need to:
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Master the Swedish language, both spoken and written, to communicate clearly with users and handle documentation.
- Have good computer skills.
It is advantageous if you have:
- Education in Health and Care, Child and Education, or other equivalent education.
- Previous experience in care work and working with people with disabilities.
- A B driver's license.

About the Workplace
In the disability services, you help create well-being and security for people with different conditions based on interests, age, and disabilities. We put the user's needs at the center and enable their right to self-determination, participation, and influence over their own lives. Our target group includes children, adolescents, and the elderly with physical or mental disabilities.
