Your Role

In the field of Aeronautics, we are responsible for the development of control systems, aerodynamics, flight mechanics, and performance. Here, we develop flight mechanical and aerodynamic models, calculate performance, and develop and integrate software and hardware for both Gripen C/D, E/F, Saab's civil products 340/2000, and next-generation aircraft systems. We have many exciting projects ahead of us and need to grow in several areas.

We are currently looking for a project manager with a strong technical interest. Our area has a wide range of assignments, spanning from concept development to testing, further development, implementation, and support of already delivered products.

Some examples of technical focus areas:

• System and functional development
• Hardware, control system computer, control stick, sensors, and servos
• Flight mechanical and aerodynamic models
• System safety
• Control engineering and control laws
• Programming
• Verification and validation through simulation, rig testing, and flight testing

Your Profile

Whether you are at the beginning of your career or have extensive experience, we believe you have something unique to contribute - and we would love to get to know you.

We see that you have:

• A couple of years of experience in project management, resource planning, and risk management
• A strong interest in aviation and/or technology
• A technical background such as a university degree in engineering or have acquired similar knowledge in other ways
• Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable security protection regulations. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may entail requirements for certain citizenship.
