Coordinator for Barnahus in Nacka, Värmdö, and Tyresö

Do you want to make a difference for children who are suspected of being victims of crime? Our new Barnahus for Nacka, Värmdö, and Tyresö is a safe and child-friendly environment where the police, social services, prosecutors, the Child Protection Team, and BUP collaborate to provide children with the support and protection they need.

We are now looking for another dedicated coordinator who wants to contribute to our important work.

Your mission:

The target group for Barnahus consists of children under 18 years old residing in any of the three municipalities of Tyresö, Nacka, and Värmdö who are suspected of being victims of domestic violence, sexual abuse, child protection crimes, or other serious violent crimes.

As a coordinator, you will belong to the reception group in Nacka municipality, which consists of 17 social workers, three group leaders, and one group manager. Within the reception group, there are services for children and youth, a domestic violence team, and an emergency social service.

As a coordinator at Barnahus, you are the hub of the operation. You are responsible for planning, coordinating, and following up on cases involving multiple actors. You ensure that communication between the police, social services, prosecutors, pediatricians, and psychologists runs smoothly and that processes follow applicable routines. You are structured, communicative, and have a good ability to build trust. You thrive in a complex environment where flexibility and collaboration are crucial.

Your tasks:

• Coordinate meetings and interventions between different authorities.
• Ensure that information and documentation are handled correctly.
• Be the contact person for collaborating actors.
• Contribute to the development of routines and working methods.
• Support the operation in keeping the child's perspective in focus.

• Coordinate child interviews
• Summon and lead consultation meetings
• Be available for the municipalities' social services, police, and prosecutors and ensure that information between the various authorities is communicated
• Provide advice and support in cases where children are suspected of being victims of crime
• Provide therapeutic support to families/children coming for interviews and their companions
• Coordinate support after child interviews
• Develop working methods and approaches

Is this you?

We see that you are a positive person with your own drive and a good ability to collaborate. You are communicative and express yourself well in writing and speech. We place great importance on your personal suitability and your ability to contribute to the development of the operation.

We see that you have:

• Degree in social work
• Good knowledge of child development
• Several years of experience in child interviews, child welfare investigations, and meeting families in crisis
• Driving license B
