Your everyday life – contribute to our development with a focus on technology

The IT unit currently consists of 48 people and plans for further expansion. We work with administrative and security-classified IT environments, where development and engagement are important to us. We are constantly working on our skills development and we care that everyone participates in various training initiatives.

In the role of Application IT Specialist, you will be responsible for in-depth technical and functional knowledge of one or more systems/applications within one or more management objects. The role contributes to ensuring stable operations, effective support for the business, and that changes and further development occur with good quality and according to established routines. Your main tasks will be:

• Manage and optimize one or more applications/systems from a technical and user perspective.
• Act as technical support to management leaders, IT management leaders, and business representatives.
• Participate in troubleshooting and incident management together with operations and support organizations.
• Participate in or lead technical analyses, testing, upgrades, and implementations.
• Produce technical documentation, operational documentation, and user support.
• Act as an expert contact with suppliers during upgrades or errors.
• Monitor and suggest improvements in the application area, e.g., automation, performance, and security.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a university degree in IT, systems science, or another equivalent education, and/or several years of work experience in IT system management that we consider equivalent. You should have several years of work experience with IT applications and have extensive experience documenting technical solutions. You should have good knowledge of Swedish. You must have Swedish citizenship and a B driver's license.

It is advantageous if you have experience in:

• IT management and development according to established models such as PM³, ITIL, or similar.
• Working with needs analyses and processes in government agencies.
• Managing case flows.
• Working in applications such as Agresso, Infokey, and FP&A or similar financial systems.
• Working in a government agency within IT.

About the employment

The position is a permanent employment and may begin with a probationary period. As a permanent employee, you will be placed in a war position. The place of employment is Eskilstuna. An employment with us requires Swedish citizenship and involves placement in a security class. A security review with a background check will be conducted before employment in accordance with Chapter 3 of the Security Protection Act.
