Our client is looking for a senior Windows Technician who can provide qualified advice on policy work and hardening of Windows Server 2025. The assignment involves review, development of recommendations, and support in implementation according to the CIS framework. You will work closely with the client's team and contribute with sharp analyses and secure guidance.

Responsibilities

• Advising on policy and security hardening for Windows Server
• Development of action proposals according to the CIS framework
• Support in the implementation of decided actions
• Design and adaptation of Group Policy Objects
• Collaboration with the client's IT security function and technical specialists

Mandatory requirements

• Experience in developing policy for Windows Server 2025
• Documented experience in Windows Server hardening according to the CIS framework
• Deep knowledge of Group Policy Objects (GPO) design and implementation

Preferred requirements

• Experience in larger IT environments within public administration (10,000+ users)
• Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Security, CISSP, CISM, or equivalent

Assignment period: Feb 1, 2026 – Apr 30, 2026

Location: Work will be conducted both on-site in Lund and remotely by agreement Scope: approx. 80 hours in total Compensation: Ongoing hours (no travel reimbursement)  Possibility of extension for up to 12 months
