About the Assignment

You will play a key role in the development of a VTT platform (Virtual Technical Trainer) within the defense sector. The platform is based on Unity 3D and is used to create realistic, user-focused, and high-quality training applications for military scenarios.

In this role, you will combine technical leadership with hands-on development and clear product responsibility. You will help shape both the technical direction and how the solutions create concrete training value. The work takes place in an environment where quality, usability, and continuous improvement are at the center, and where understanding of simulators, training processes, and user needs is crucial for success.

This is a role for you who enjoys taking overall responsibility, driving development forward, and working closely with the product in daily development work.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the development work for the VTT solution and ensure technical direction and quality.
  • Combine the role of product owner and developer with responsibility for backlog, priorities, and delivery.
  • Develop core functionality in Unity 3D and C#.
  • Work according to agile methods with sprint planning, backlog refinement, demo, and continuous iteration.
  • Drive a user-centric design process where user feedback, user testing, and iterative improvements are central parts.
  • Ensure that the applications provide optimal training value based on an understanding of military training, tactics, and instructional environments.
Requirements
  • Solid experience in Unity 3D and C# development.
  • 8+ years of experience.
  • Documented experience working in agile teams and leading development through iterative processes.
  • Ability to combine technical development work with product ownership responsibilities.
  • Experience in user-centric design, user testing, and UX-driven development.
  • Understanding of military training, simulators, and training processes.
  • Ability to undergo and pass a security clearance (requires Swedish citizenship, dual citizenship is not permitted)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience within the Armed Forces or similar.
  • Background in product development.
  • Experience in simulation, training systems, or game development.

  • Pension plan (4.5% up to 7.5 IBB and 30% on salary above)
