Green Urbansights AB is a Swedish tech company developing data-driven solutions for sustainable urban development.

We are looking for a Junior Machine Learning Engineer with a focus on remote sensing and geospatial data. The role involves working with satellite data analysis and developing machine learning models that support decision-making in climate and urban planning.

The tasks include developing and applying machine learning models for remote sensing and geodata, processing and analyzing satellite and GIS data, validating model results, and integrating analysis into the company's technical platforms. The role also involves collaboration with internal and external resources and support for product development and customer projects.

We are looking for someone with a relevant university degree in fields such as computer science, geoinformatics, or similar. You have basic knowledge of machine learning and programming experience, for example in Python. Experience with geodata or remote sensing is an advantage. Experience or knowledge in agent-based AI systems / autonomous AI systems (agentic systems) is a requirement.

This is a full-time position based in Lund, with the possibility of some remote work. Start date is negotiable.
