Job Responsibilities

Do you want to help strengthen our competence in system administration? We are now looking for a system administrator for a temporary position until December 31, 2026.

You will belong to the section for digital services and system support within the IT and digitalization unit, which is responsible for operations and system administration in the primary school administration.

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Working with system administration, support, and troubleshooting to ensure proper handling in the systems.
  • Establishing and anchoring routines together with other stakeholders and conducting training in the systems from a business perspective.
  • Collaborating with system administrators and system managers and management to develop current IT systems from a business perspective.
  • Mapping and documenting the organization's information needs and information flows.
  • Acting as an advisor to schools and working on standardizing information.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a relevant post-secondary education combined with experience that the employer deems relevant.

To succeed in this role, we see that you have:

  • Experience in operational work with system administration and support.
  • Experience in registry maintenance and organization in connection with systematic quality work regarding systems.
  • Very good knowledge of administrative routines and processes.
  • Understanding of system management in larger organizations.
  • Very good skills in Swedish, both spoken and written, as well as good skills in English.

As a person, you have an easy time communicating and collaborating with different target groups, such as operations, developers, and specialists. You are structured and systematic in your work, team-focused, and create trusting working relationships.

About the Workplace

The Department for Support and Development is a new department within the primary school administration that includes central student health, school-related support, and IT and digitalization. With about 200 employees, the department works to realize the vision of the best school for every student. Within the IT and digitalization unit, the focus is on planning, developing, and following up on digital services and systems based on the needs of schools and support units. Digitalization within the primary school administration is based on high data quality and efficient information flows.

The primary school administration – the city's largest administration with about 80 schools, 6500 employees, and 36000 students offers a workplace for everyone.
