Embedded/Linux Developer (Consulting Assignment) – Lund

Do you want to work closely with the product in a technically advanced environment where quality, innovation, and collaboration are in focus? We are now looking for an Embedded/Linux Developer for an exciting consulting assignment with our client in Lund, who develops market-leading network-based camera products.

In this role, you will be part of an experienced and agile development team that works closely with an established platform. You will contribute to both further development and maintenance while helping to shape future solutions according to the product's roadmap.

The work is varied and includes both new development and improvement of existing functionality – with a focus on stability, performance, and quality.

Your Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain embedded systems in C/C++ within Linux userspace
• Debug, optimize, and improve the existing codebase
• Participate in new feature development according to the product's roadmap
• Work with integrations and communication between system components (e.g., via D-Bus)
• Actively contribute in an agile team with code reviews, technical discussions, and solution design
• Ensure high quality, stability, and performance in delivered solutions

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in embedded development
• Good knowledge of C and C++
• Experience with Linux and working in userspace
• Experience with D-Bus
• Familiarity with working in agile teams
• Ability to handle varying tasks
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Open Embedded
• Experience with Jenkins (CI/CD)
• Knowledge of LLDP
• Experience with power management in embedded/Linux environments
• Experience with Rust
• Knowledge of cybersecurity
