Accelerate is growing – and we are now looking for a Senior Platform Engineer in OpenStack, Linux & Automation who wants to help build smart, sustainable, and secure solutions at the forefront of technology.

Your role

As part of our DevOps team, you will work on assignments for market-leading clients, designing, building, and further developing modern platform solutions. You will work closely with clients in complex environments where OpenStack is often a central part, and you will be involved in the entire chain – from architecture and implementation to further development and management.

You contribute to creating stable, scalable, and reliable platforms through automation, modern working methods, and a strong focus on long-term sustainability.

In this role, you will work with:

• Design, implementation, and management of OpenStack-based platforms

• Linux in larger and complex environments

• Container-based solutions with Docker and Kubernetes

• Automation of infrastructure and platforms with Terraform, Ansible, and scripts

• CI/CD and GitOps workflows

• Migrations, upgrades, and integration work

Who are you?

We are looking for someone with solid experience in platforms, DevOps, or infrastructure who is passionate about building stable, secure, efficient, and scalable platform solutions for our clients. You express yourself fluently in both Swedish and English, in both speech and writing.

For this position, Swedish citizenship is required, and we also conduct background checks on the final candidate.

You should be familiar with:

• OpenStack (deployment, operation, further development, or management)

• Linux in enterprise environments

• Container technology, such as Docker and Kubernetes

• Scripting/programming, such as Bash, Python, or Go

• Version control in Git

• Automation and Infrastructure as Code with Terraform and/or Ansible

• CI/CD and GitOps

Extra points if you also have knowledge of:

• Public cloud (AWS, Azure, or GCP)

• OpenShift, Rancher, or similar platforms

• HashiCorp Vault or Consul

• Observability, logging, or security solutions in platform environments

Location

Accelerate has several locations in Sweden and Norway. For this position, you will be based in our office in Malmö, with the possibility of hybrid work.
