JOB DESCRIPTION

Do you want to help create a strong business climate and contribute to the municipality's development? We are looking for a business developer who is passionate about dialogue, service, and collaboration. With us, you will play a key role in strengthening the relationship between the municipality, businesses, and regional actors.

About the role

You will work both strategically and operationally to drive development projects that promote growth and establishment. You will be the contact person for businesses and provide support in establishment, permit issues, and growth. You will follow up on business surveys, analyze the needs of the business community, and suggest improvements in the municipality's service.

A large part of the job involves collaboration – you will build networks, coordinate business meetings, and collaborate with various actors for smoother processes. You will also work on communication to strengthen the image of the municipality as business-friendly and highlight good examples in various channels.

The role also includes monitoring the external environment, following up on statistics, and analysis for strategic decisions. You will support the business manager and contribute to achieving the unit's goals.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with relevant higher education or equivalent experience, preferably in social sciences, economics, political science, business development, or communication. You have experience working with business issues, business services, or community development, and are accustomed to driving development and collaboration projects.

You need to have a good understanding of business conditions, a very good ability to express yourself in Swedish and English, and good digital skills, including working with websites and social media.

A valid driver's license (B) is required.

It is an advantage if you have experience in business development, project management, work within municipal or regional operations, business-promoting initiatives, EU projects, or both the private and public sectors. Knowledge of permit processes, business consulting, analysis, and environmental monitoring as well as communication work is also a plus.

We are looking for a person who is communicative, relationship-building, and structured, with the ability to build networks, create engagement, and drive development. You work independently, without prestige, and solution-oriented in collaboration with others.
