Financial Crime Investigator at the Economic Crime Unit in Linköping
The Swedish Economic Crime Authority prevents, detects, interrupts, investigates, and prosecutes economic crimes. Our 800 employees have various competencies and professional roles, such as prosecutors, police officers, financial crime investigators, administrators, and other specialists, all working together against economic crime. Workplace
At the Economic Crime Unit in Linköping, there are two investigative units, one in Linköping and one in Örebro. The main location is Linköping. We are now looking for an investigator for a fixed-term position at the Linköping office.
Job Responsibilities
As a financial crime investigator, you will participate in criminal investigations and work in teams where prosecutors, administrators, police officers, and other investigators with special competencies in areas such as auditing and analysis may be included. Your tasks will include:
- collecting and compiling investigation materials
- analyzing investigation materials and writing memos
- conducting interviews
- participating in raids
Requirements
We are looking for someone who has:
- a university degree in a relevant field or equivalent knowledge and experience acquired in other ways that the employer deems relevant
- at least one year of experience in qualified investigative work within the last five years
- experience in conducting interviews
- experience in analyzing and structuring large amounts of information
- good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form
- good computer skills and is a regular user of the Microsoft Office suite.
It is advantageous if you also have:
- experience working with investigations related to economic crime
- knowledge of tax law
- knowledge of accounting
- knowledge and experience of how a preliminary investigation is conducted
- good knowledge of English
