About the job
The Consumer Credit Unit in the Banking Law Department is responsible for supervising that companies in the consumer credit market conduct proper credit assessments and meet the requirements for good lending practices, in order to promote sound lending. It also supervises debt collection agencies, works with regulation related to consumer credits, and collaborates with other departments on consumer protection issues. You will work with supervision of the regulations for companies, focusing on consumer protection provisions. You will conduct investigations and perform in-depth analyses. In this role, you will contribute to developing working methods within supervision. You will write reports and consultation responses as part of your work. You will collaborate with other colleagues in the field and other parts of the organization. You will also have contact with industry representatives and other authorities.
Your education and experience
We are looking for someone who
- has an academic degree in law, economics, or a related field
- has relevant work experience from, for example, the financial sector or another authority
- is familiar with and has experience applying laws and regulations
- expresses themselves well in Swedish and English, both orally and in writing.
It is an advantage if you
- have relevant work experience from working in a credit institution
- have experience managing projects, processes, or similar
- have experience conducting analyses
- have experience in supervision
- have knowledge of relevant regulations for the financial market.
