We are looking for an operational buyer who wants to take the next step and enjoys having significant responsibilities and many points of contact. As a consultant in Ljungby, you will play an important role in production with good opportunities for continuation and development towards strategic purchasing.

As an operational buyer, you are responsible for ensuring that the production unit receives the right materials, supplies, protective equipment, and spare parts, on time, at the right cost, and in accordance with the company's quality and purchasing requirements. The work follows the client's purchasing policy and purchasing procedures and constitutes a key function in the business with many internal and external points of contact.

Main Responsibilities:

• Manage purchases according to policy and procedures
• Place purchase orders and maintain daily contact with suppliers
• Monitor deliveries and book transports
• Ensure accurate inventory balances and follow up on consumption
• Conduct inventories and approve invoices
• Update registers and price lists
• Participate in contract work and supplier assessments
• Contribute to deviation management
• Be responsible for contact with cleaning and laundry partners

We are looking for someone who has:

• A university degree in purchasing or equivalent relevant higher education.
• Good knowledge of English, both spoken and written.
• Very good computer skills, including strong Excel skills.
• Good logical and analytical ability.
• Good social skills and a high sense of service.

- Experience in purchasing in a manufacturing or production environment is an advantage.

- Experience with ERP systems is an advantage, especially Monitor.
