Do you want a key role in developing one of the Nordic region's most expansive design brands? We are now looking for a Category Manager for our headquarters in Växjö. Here you will have overall responsibility for product development within several furniture categories – from idea to finished product on the market.

🛋️ About the role

As a Category Manager, you will drive the development of one or more product areas. You will lead the product development process from concept to launch and collaborate closely with purchasing, sales, and marketing. The focus is on design, quality, pricing, and commercial accuracy. The role requires analytical skills, creativity, and project management competence – along with a passion for business development.

Some travel is included in the position, mainly to Asia, where you will collaborate with suppliers and follow up on product development on-site.

Your responsibilities

• Overall responsibility for product development within various furniture categories.
• Drive product development projects from idea and design to production and launch.
• Ensure the right design expression, quality, and price level according to the company's assortment strategy.
• Analyze category results and suggest improvements.
• Market monitoring and trend analysis within materials, colors, forms, and consumer behaviors.
• Close collaboration with suppliers and follow-up on samples and production materials.
• Ongoing optimization of the existing assortment.

You are a creative, driven, and loyal team player who enjoys taking responsibility and getting things done. You thrive in a role where you can think visionary and work hands-on in your daily tasks.

• Experience in product development and/or assortment responsibility within furniture, interior design, or a similar industry.
• Good sense of design, trends, and commercial assortment work.
• Ability to work in a structured manner, independently, and with multiple parallel projects.
• Strong collaboration skills and confident communication with both internal teams and external suppliers.
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
• Willingness and ability to travel for work.
