ABENA AB is part of the Danish family-owned group ABENA, with more than 2,000 employees and operations worldwide. In Sweden, we have approximately 150 employees with offices and warehouses in both Växjö and Kisa. Our production facility, where many of our own products are manufactured, is located in Kisa. ABENA AB is responsible for sales and marketing of primarily healthcare-related products, as well as consumables such as protective clothing, gloves, waste management, disposable and catering items, hygiene paper, and cleaning agents. Our customers are mainly found within the public healthcare sector, but also in retail, industry, and among wholesalers. We are an expanding company that successfully combines our size-related strengths with the advantages of a family-owned business, such as short decision-making paths and flexibility, to best meet market needs.
Job Responsibilities and Areas of Responsibility
Based in Växjö, we are looking for a driven, analytical, and digitally strong tender coordinator who wants to take a key role in developing our tender team. Together with our tender manager, you will build structures, analysis models, and working methods that strengthen our competitiveness and contribute directly to our continued growth. The role involves leading and coordinating the entire tender process – from monitoring procurement and early go/no-go assessments to completed tenders and follow-ups – while collecting information, quality assuring materials, and ensuring that all formal and technical requirements are met.
You will work cross-functionally with product, sales, and purchasing, write and edit tender texts, manage attachments and layout, and prepare calculations and pricing documentation. At the same time, you will develop processes and drive a more digitized and analysis-based working method that contributes to continuous improvements and increased accuracy in our procurements. The role suits you who thrive on responsibility, structure, and collaboration – and who wants to help shape a cutting-edge tender team, with a more analysis-based working method, where we continuously evaluate our results and identify improvement opportunities that strengthen our competitiveness in future procurements.
To succeed in the role, we see that you have
- Experience in administrative work, coordination, or project management, preferably with several years of experience in purchasing, sales, finance, or similar.
- The ability to quickly understand complex requirements and regulations, with an analytical and structured working method.
- Good technical skills in MS Office, especially Excel, as well as experience with digital tools and systems.
- At least a high school education, preferably post-secondary or academic education in a relevant field.
Fluent in spoken and written Swedish and English.
Experience in procurement, contract law, and systems such as SAP, CRM, Mercell, or Tendium is advantageous. Previous experience in tender management is a plus, but the most important thing is that you are efficient, engaged, structured, and willing to grow in the role. We view curiosity about digitalization and interest in using AI tools to streamline processes positively.
Your Profile
You are likely at the beginning of your career and seeking a role where you have a central function with significant responsibility. You are digitally oriented and comfortable with systems while being curious about using AI and other digital tools to streamline processes.
You are analytical and methodical, with the ability to keep many balls in the air while maintaining an overview of the whole. As a natural team player, you enjoy collaborating and actively contribute ideas and improvements in processes and working methods while working in a structured and systematic way to drive processes forward.
What We Offer
At ABENA, you will be part of a thriving and successful company in growth. We offer an organization with clear goals and high ambitions, where you are part of a cohesive, competent, and versatile team that supports each other. The culture is unpretentious with a strong team spirit, and the role provides good opportunities to shape and develop working methods and processes while giving you a position where you can truly influence the company's business and future.
