Job Description

Your daily work will include:

• Responsibility to secure supplier, supply chain perspective in new products and improvements projects
• Secure material selection in line with Lighting and Home electronics roadmaps, and that supplier manufacturing capabilities are considered in NEWs and Improves projects
• Secure that agreed sourcing goals and deliverables, strategic movements are deployed through the development of better products
• Enable collaboration across the supply chain by providing input to stakeholders and acting on opportunities and deviations supporting the wished movements from Lighting and Home electronics perspective
• Responsibility to secure input and preconditions to the Category, for the Category to define optimal global sourcing set-up for NEWs and Improves
• Responsibility to conclude business case based on global optimal sourcing and supply set-up
• Be the gearbox between Range Area and Category for operational or tactical discussions
• Contribute to Portfolio Planning and input to briefing of new projects
• Contribute or take ownership for Supply Chain Collaboration activities

Qualifications

To succeed & shine in this role, we wish that you:

• Have experience within related field such as product development, sourcing or procurement, project leadership within business or product development or purchasing and business development
• Have material and production knowledge in Lighting and Home electronics and have an understanding of cost drivers in production and materials
• Are business driven and result oriented
• Are proactive and take initiative to find the best business set-up
• Are knowledgeable in value chain and value chain analysis
• Have the capability to lead with a holistic view, always having customer, supplier, and total cost in mind
• Can lead and deliver results through own competence and involving and engaging others, independent of location
• Able to lead and contribute to supply related projects
• Have capability to analyze and draw conclusions from a total business perspective
• Know how to perform risk assessment and scenario planning
