About the job

Position: Permanent full-time employment, probationary period applies.

Start date: 2026-03-01 or by agreement.

Working hours: You will vary between working early mornings, daytime, evenings, and weekends.

Requirements: High school education, good knowledge of Swedish (spoken and written). We welcome applicants of all ages, but with reference to the Swedish Work Environment Authority's regulations AFS 2023:2 chapter 8 and appendix 2, we do not hire anyone under 18 years of age due to the nature of the work tasks.

We are looking for you who want to be part of our wonderful team at the brand new Willys Alvesta Stationen, which is about to open! The position simply means that you, along with your colleagues, contribute to offering our customers good and sustainable food at really good prices. You are an important part of the store team that ensures our customers have the best shopping experience.

Here’s a bit more about the position:

• Together with your colleagues, you will manage the varied and physically demanding daily operations in the fruit and vegetable department. You can expect to get many steps on the pedometer!
• You will be responsible for sales planning, placing orders, and ensuring that the department is appealing and seasonally relevant, thus contributing to the store achieving its sales and profitability goals.
• You will ensure that our fruit and vegetable shelves, as well as flower carts and flower departments, are well-stocked and look great.
• You will assist our customers and meet them with knowledge, sensitivity, and a big smile.
• You will help our customers at the checkout or any of our other checkout options.

About you

You love food, people, and sales just as much as we do! For us, it doesn’t matter if you are a vegan or a meat lover, eating tacos on a Friday or a Tuesday. The great thing about you is that you are you. And that’s exactly what we are looking for.

• You have experience working in the fruit and vegetable department in a store or equivalent valuable knowledge and are ready to take the next step in your development.
• The Fruit & Vegetable department is a very important part of our store, and it is therefore important that you, like us, have high ambitions, are meticulous, and maintain a very high level of order, structure, and planning.
• You have good IT and computer skills, are detail-oriented, and have no problem navigating different systems.
• You want to learn new things and develop.
• You have a positive attitude and want to have fun at work.
• You see when something needs to be done, roll up your sleeves, and get it done.
• You find it easy to collaborate with others – we work together as a team!
• You speak, write, and understand Swedish. Many of our customers speak more languages than that, so if you do too, that’s great!
