Store Salesperson at Mekonomen in Växjö

We are looking for someone who is passionate about sales, service-oriented, and has a drive to learn. Knowledge of car spare parts is a plus. As a store salesperson, you will work with private customers and workshop clients to independently and successfully sell our products. You want to work closely with customers, engage in meetings, and have the willingness to go the extra mile to create long-term customer relationships. As a team leader, it is important that you are attentive, empathetic, and unpretentious, and have the ability to create an atmosphere where employees thrive, develop, and function as a team in a customer-oriented environment. Taking responsibility for your work and the overall business is a prerequisite for working at Mekonomen.

Main Responsibilities

• Sales to both workshop customers and private customers on weekdays and weekends
• Serve our workshop customers via phone and deliver products according to their orders
• Maintain order and display products in the store
• Assist customers with simple installations
• Actively work with upselling during customer visits
• Sell consumables and product ranges to workshops and manage any replenishment
• Ensure that returns from customers are taken back to the store and handled correctly
• Be part of the operational activities at all levels and acquire the necessary skills to assist in various functions when needed
• Together with the Store Manager, ensure good and close follow-up of customers, including building and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and loyalty
• Support the Store Manager and act as responsible in their absence
• Contribute to the store achieving set goals/KPIs

We are looking for someone who has

• Work experience from a similar industry
• A completed high school education or equivalent, preferably with a focus on automotive technology
• Experience and competence from previous work in a workshop is highly meritorious
• Interest in vehicles
• Engaged, responsible, and service-minded
• Positive attitude and solution-oriented
• Ability to communicate in both spoken and written Swedish
• Computer skills
• Class B driver's license
