Primary care includes Region Blekinge's health centers, rehabilitation services, youth clinics, and wound centers. Residents of Blekinge who become ill turn directly to the health centers and gain access to healthcare that does not require hospital resources. Care is provided in all cities of the county, in several smaller locations, and sometimes in homes. Our goal is to be a modern outpatient care where teamwork and patient needs are at the center.

Samariten Health Center has approximately 17,000 registered patients and is part of Hälsoval. We are about 60 employees in various professions working together.

About the Job

As a specialist in general medicine at Samaritens Health Center, you will work broadly within the general medical field with both acute and planned consultations. Samaritens Health Center is currently in a development phase where we are reviewing how we can improve our working methods. We want a modern health center where we work in teams to meet citizens' needs. We want to create a good working environment where we will thrive and be satisfied with the work we do together. Do you want to be involved in creating a workplace that will meet the future of healthcare?

We work based on RAK, "right use of competence".

We also plan to work in teams for better continuity and security for patients and other staff. It is then possible to participate in planning and developing a well-functioning and sustainable reception work with varying tasks. We also intend to develop our digital healthcare meetings. If you have supervisor training, you will also have the opportunity to mentor students and training doctors within our organization, and you will be offered development opportunities regarding the future tasks and operations of general medicine.

There is an opportunity to participate in continuing education activities, jointly for the entire county, about once a month. Other continuing education within the profession is also prioritized at our workplace, as well as internal training in various forms.

We have various nurse-based specialist clinics: child health, diabetes nurses, asthma/COPD nurses, incontinence nurses, elderly care, lifestyle clinics, and nurses responsible for wounds. Samariten also has a rehabilitation coordinator. The health center has a branch with doctors in Mörrum and a branch with child health care in Asarum.

About You

We are looking for someone who wants to work in primary care and be part of our wonderful team. We are looking for someone who has a Swedish medical license with specialist competence in general medicine. You are confident in your professional role and are a positive colleague who contributes to our good climate.

If you have experience working in a health center, that is a good merit.

You have a genuine interest in helping people and working with the patient in focus. You are confident in your professional role and are a positive colleague who contributes to our good working climate. Furthermore, you find it easy to collaborate and have good initiative and organizational skills. You master the Swedish language in both speech and writing. Applicants who are relevant for employment must present an extract from the Police Authority's criminal record before employment (form 442.9).

We place great importance on personal suitability. Region Blekinge places all permanent employees in a crisis preparedness position. Some of our positions are security classified, where the employee must undergo a security clearance interview and background check according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585).
