School Nurse for Primary School - A Job of Opportunities

An exciting and fun assignment with many challenges in the preventive and health-promoting work for students in school. The assignment is located at Ramdalaskolan 80% and Fågelmaraskolan 20%, covering grades from preschool to year 6 at both schools.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a school nurse, you will follow the students' development towards knowledge goals, work health-promoting, preventive, implement vaccination programs, organize school doctor appointments, follow the municipality's health visit program, and perform simpler medical interventions at drop-in clinics.

Working as a school nurse means having your own responsibility regarding the planning, organization, and implementation of the interventions that fall within the school health care's mission. You will follow the guidelines from the National Board of Health and Welfare and the Swedish National Agency for Education for student health, as well as other laws that govern the work; the Health and Medical Services Act, the Education Act, the Patent Act, the Patient Data Act, and the Public Access to Information and Secrecy Act.

You will work together with the schools' student health teams and staff and have a genuine interest in the school's students. You have good collaboration skills and feel a great responsibility for the tasks you undertake. In this role, you contribute to maintaining quality, continuity, and stability for a sustainable student health organization.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse with specialist training as a pediatric nurse, district nurse, or school nurse.

You should be good at creating and strengthening collaborations internally and externally, as well as building new relationships and nurturing existing ones. We are looking for someone who enjoys working in a team and strives for common goals. It is natural for you to compromise and share information and knowledge.
