What does the job as an occupational therapist at Norlandia entail?

As an occupational therapist, you are responsible for occupational therapy assessments aimed at maintaining the elderly's physical health and preserving functions. You work rehabilitatively and functionally to strengthen the elderly's independence and quality of life. You are responsible for the testing and prescription of aids and medical technical products, as well as further education and guidance of nursing staff regarding rehabilitative approaches and methods. You are responsible for developing staff competence in ergonomics and transfer techniques.

Documentation, follow-up, and evaluation of interventions, as well as collaboration with other actors in the care chain, are part of the profession. It is a broad job with many points of contact that requires independence and initiative. You are part of the management team of the operation as well as the team around the elderly together with other professionals.

·       We are looking for you who are a licensed occupational therapist.

·       It is highly meritorious if you have previous experience as an occupational therapist in elderly care.

·       Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written, is required.

·       We would like you to have good computer skills and knowledge of systems.
